Hosting a sale in your unit block:
Hosting a sale can be as easy as inviting all your fellow residents to grab a picnic blanket or suitcase to display their stuff.
Use your communal gardens, foyer or other shared space and don’t scrimp on the fun. From playing tunes to organising a dress up section for the kids (using some of the most spectacular pre-loved goodies the neighbours can muster).
Once you have decided what you want to do:
- Set your date – Garage Sale Trail happens next on 7-8 & 14-15 November 2026.
- Get permission from the Owners Corporation, strata or property manager using the template email.
- From now, you can list your event on the Garage Sale Trail website.
- Invite your neighbours.
- Crank up the tunes and get together to buy, sell, swap and meet your neighbours.
