Garage Sale Trail is a free and fun way to raise money for your group, club or charity as well as clear out unused or unwanted items, recruit new members and raise awareness of the good work you do locally.
Last year, $3.9 million was raised for households, community groups, schools and charities nationally, with community group averaging around $1,500 each.
Garage Sale Trail returns on 8-9 & 15-16 November 2025.

Group success story: The Hills Mens Shed Inc.
In 2024, The Hills Men’s Shed took part in Garage Sale Trail, using the opportunity to host an Open Day and Market selling handmade items and secondhand tools. The event was a huge success, attracting the wider community to support the Shed and grab a bargain. The Shed raised an impressive $3,050, which went towards funding their initiatives.
